Hey this is Guru, First of all I love Ghostty, I use it all the time. I have been facing this issue of Mouse tracking mode not reset after SSH session dies with broken pipe, So I went ahead and fixed it myself with help of AI.

Here is what I have right now

• I have local fixed prototype for mac m4 chip
• It's already been reported in issues (Mouse tracking mode not reset after SSH session dies with broken pipe #12358)
• This adds optional ssh-cleanup feature to existing integrated SSH wrapper
• It resets mouse modes only after SSH exits, only on a TTY, and preserves the SSH exit status
• Codex helped investigate, design, implement, test, and review the patch

I don't want to permanently disable mouse reporting because I use mouse support in terminal applications like tmux to scroll.

Why do you want to make this change?

Its pain to actually reset the terminal once the ssh broken pipe error comes, I just feel world will be little bit better place without that issue. One less thing to be frustrated about.
