What do you want to change?

I want to contribute small fixes and enhancements as I come across them. I recently switched from alacritty to ghostty. Coincidentally, I went to UW 2008-2012 when @mitchellh was there.

Mitchell: Hi again! Would be very surprised if you remember me, but I think Armon might.

On my system ghostty frequently outputs the following warning:

warning(gtk_ghostty_surface): gtk-xft-dpi has invalid value (-1), using default

This warning should not be emitted because -1 indicates default scaling. From the gtk docs:

The font resolution, in 1024 * dots/inch.

-1 to use the default value.

The fix is simple

Why do you want to make this change?

Scratching my own itch. Everything spawned by my window manager has its stderr piped to the systemd log. Ghostty is spamming my log
