Flickering when using keybindings to resize split but not when using mouse

Issue Description

Hi,

Today I switched to the latest v1.2.0 on Archlinux and now I'm facing some weird flickering when using my keybindings to resize the split.

I'm using XFCE on Arch and I'm aware that it's on GTK3 but it should launch GTK4 apps just fine (https://ghostty.org/docs/linux#supported-gtkadwaita-versions).

Expected Behavior

Resizing via keybindings shouldn't make the screen flicker.

Actual Behavior

Screen is flikering.

Reproduction Steps

• Launch Ghostty
• Resize split via mouse -> all good
• Resize split via keybindings -> flickers
