Highlights

Symbol graphs and codebase_impact now work where they previously broke:

  • Plain JavaScript classes (#105): any .js, .jsx, .mjs or .cjs file containing a class used to lose its entire symbol extraction (one bare module symbol, zero call edges), because the class-name lookup asked the JavaScript grammar for a TypeScript-only node kind and ast-grep throws on unknown kinds. Classes, their methods, and the file's call edges now extract correctly.
  • Ruby calls without parentheses (#103): callee extraction required a (, so the dominant Ruby call idiom produced no call edges. Callee names now come from the grammar's method field.
  • Very large repositories (#104, closes #99): a symbol-graph shard could exceed Qdrant's 32 MiB request limit and fail the whole graph build. Oversized shards now split transparently across multiple points.

After upgrading, rebuild your code graph (codebase_graph_build) to pick up the newly extracted symbols.

Downgrade caveat (#104): a graph written by 1.11.0 that needed split shards is not fully readable by older versions; they see only the first part of a split shard. 1.11.0 itself fails closed on malformed or partial shards instead of returning a truncated graph. If you downgrade, rebuild the graph.
