2.0
Katana 2.0 — GDEMU SD card manager for macOS.
Build 4 (universal, Developer ID signed and notarized).
Highlights
- Multi-file import — GDI/CCD track sets and ZIP packages; honest chunked edge progress with segment notches
- Delete Immediately — ⌥⌫ / Option-alternate menu item for permanent on-card erase (soft-delete remains default)
- Session write access — security-scoped root held for the whole open card; Grant Access… recovery; sandbox
/Volumesexception - Menu rebuild — IP.BIN headers cached for faster rebuilds; fingerprint dirty tracking (add→delete clears the prompt); snappier quit-time rebuild
- Auto-rename on add (on by default) — GameDB names from IP.BIN serial; build-tag filenames (
beltrunner-shipplay-f64-dc) keep source names; hold ⌥ while adding or dropping to force source names; collisions with the card or the same batch also keep source names - Check for Updates — Help → Check for Updates… and a quiet launch check via GitHub Releases; banner when a newer version is out
- Redump GDI — quoted track names for IP.BIN serials and covers
- Stability — 100+ card renumber/corruption fixes; CDI IP.BIN location via track table (less freeze risk on large images)
- Duplicate Tools — now disabled by default; heuristics have been improved so, for example, sequels aren't marked as dupes #1
- UI polish — shared chunked progress bar (scan / rebuild / import / delete), Disc→Card wording, trash size never shows 0 GB when non-empty
