🚀 VWA-OS v1.2.1 — Document Automation Upgrade
Release Date: 13 August 2026
Release Type: Feature & Architecture Upgrade
Repository: https://github.com/gireeshkottayam/VWA-OS
Overview
VWA-OS v1.2.1 introduces a complete Document Automation and Project Documentation layer designed to make VWA-OS capable of creating, validating, managing, versioning and releasing professional project documents.
This release extends VWA-OS beyond visual web development and debugging into a complete evidence-driven project documentation system.
The core philosophy remains:
"Create → Verify → Document → Validate → Release"
🧠 NEW — Document Intelligence Layer
VWA-OS now includes specialized document agents for different project requirements.
New Document Agents
• Document Orchestrator Agent
• Requirements Document Agent
• Technical Documentation Agent
• Proposal Agent
• Report Agent
• Brand Document Agent
• PDF Validation Agent
• Office Document Agent
• Document Accessibility Agent
• Document Versioning Agent
• Document Fact Check Agent
These agents work together instead of relying on a single general-purpose document generator.
📑 NEW — Project Document Creation
VWA-OS can now support the creation of:
• Project Briefs
• PRD / Product Requirements Documents
• SRS / Software Requirements Specifications
• BRD / Business Requirements Documents
• Technical Architecture Documents
• UX/UI Specifications
• Design System Documentation
• SEO Documentation
• Accessibility Documentation
• Performance Documentation
• Security Documentation
• QA/Test Reports
• Project Status Reports
• Weekly Work Reports
• Proposals
• Quotations
• Statements of Work
• User Manuals
• Admin Manuals
• Technical Handover Documents
• Deployment Documentation
• Release Notes
• Project Archives
📋 NEW — Project Documentation Templates
New reusable templates have been introduced for:
• Project Brief
• Software Requirements Specification
• Project Status Report
• Technical Handover
These templates provide a consistent documentation structure across projects.
🔍 NEW — Document Fact Verification
Generated documents are no longer treated as automatically correct.
The Document Fact Check Agent verifies:
• Project names
• Dates
• Requirements
• Numbers
• Technical claims
• Deliverables
• Project status
• Source information
• Evidence references
Unsupported information should be marked:
"NOT VERIFIED"
instead of being invented.
👁️ NEW — Document Visual Validation
A document being successfully generated does not mean it is ready for delivery.
VWA-OS now supports a validation workflow:

This helps detect:
• Broken page breaks
• Text clipping
• Missing fonts/glyphs
• Broken tables
• Poor spacing
• Image problems
• Incorrect headers/footers
• Incorrect page numbering
• Layout problems
• Readability issues
📄 NEW — Multi-Format Document Architecture
The document system is designed to support:
• Markdown
• HTML
• PDF
• DOCX
• XLSX
• PPTX
• JSON
• YAML
The preferred workflow is to maintain an editable source and generate the final delivery format from it whenever practical.
♿ NEW — Document Accessibility
The Document Accessibility Agent checks:
• Heading hierarchy
• Reading structure
• Meaningful links
• Table organization
• Image alternative text
• Readability
• Language metadata
• Document structure
Accessibility becomes part of the document release process rather than an afterthought.
🔐 NEW — Document Governance
Released documents should contain:
• Document ID
• Title
• Version
• Date
• Status
• Author/Owner
• Change History
Recommended lifecycle:

🔄 NEW — Project Resume System
VWA-OS now includes a persistent project-resume architecture.
New project state files:
• PROJECT-RESUME.md
• PROJECT-STATE.json
• TODO.md
• DECISION-LOG.md
This allows an AI agent to understand the state of a project without depending entirely on previous conversation history.
🧠 NEW — Project Context Recovery
The Project Context Recovery Agent can reconstruct:
• Project objective
• Current version
• Completed work
• In-progress work
• Pending work
• Blockers
• Known bugs
• Decisions
• Relevant files
• Evidence
• Recommended next action
The system is explicitly instructed:
"Never invent missing project history."
📋 NEW — Persistent TODO System
VWA-OS now provides structured TODO management.
Each TODO can contain:
• ID
• Priority
• Status
• Description
• Reason
• Affected area
• Dependencies
• Acceptance criteria
• Evidence
• Assigned agent
• Created date
• Updated date
Supported statuses:
BACKLOG
READY
IN_PROGRESS
BLOCKED
REVIEW
DONE
CANCELLED
A task should not be marked DONE without appropriate verification evidence.
🧾 NEW — Decision Log
VWA-OS now maintains a durable decision history.
Each decision can record:
• Decision ID
• Date
• Context
• Options considered
• Selected option
• Reason
• Affected components
• Consequences
• Superseded decisions
This prevents important project decisions from being lost between sessions.
🔒 CRITICAL — NO AGENT OVERWRITE POLICY
VWA-OS now introduces a strict Agent Modification Policy.
Existing agents must NOT be:
• Silently overwritten
• Deleted
• Replaced
• Truncated
• Automatically regenerated
Before modifying an existing agent:
CHECK
↓
READ
↓
COMPARE
↓
ASSESS
↓
APPROVE
↓
BACKUP / DIFF
↓
MODIFY
When additional capability is required, the preferred approach is:
• New specialist agent
• Agent extension
• Versioned agent
For example:
agents/visual/visual-truth-agent.md
should not simply be replaced.
Instead:
agents/extensions/visual-truth-image-recovery.md
can be created.
Core agent knowledge must remain protected.
🛡️ NEW — Protected Paths
The following project components are treated as protected:
• agents/**
• core/**
• workflows/**
• PROJECT-STATE.json
• PROJECT-RESUME.md
• TODO.md
• DECISION-LOG.md
Changes to these areas must be intentional and reviewable.
🤖 NEW — Antigravity Integration
VWA-OS v1.2.1 includes dedicated instructions for implementing the system into Antigravity.
Antigravity is instructed to follow:
DISCOVER
↓
REPRODUCE
↓
PLAN
↓
DELEGATE
↓
IMPLEMENT
↓
VERIFY
↓
REGRESS
↓
DOCUMENT
↓
GATE
The integration specifically addresses visual debugging and missing-image problems.
💻 NEW — OpenCode Integration
Dedicated OpenCode integration instructions are included.
OpenCode is instructed to:
• Inspect before editing
• Preserve existing agents
• Use specialist routing
• Maintain project state
• Maintain TODOs
• Collect evidence
• Verify browser rendering
• Validate documents
• Avoid unsupported claims
• Never overwrite existing agents
🖼️ Enhanced Visual Verification
The document release also strengthens the existing evidence-driven visual philosophy.
For missing images:

VERIFY
A source-code change alone is NOT considered proof that a visual problem has been fixed.
🧩 Agent Extension Architecture
VWA-OS now encourages modular agent growth.
Instead of continuously modifying large core agents, new capabilities can be introduced through:
agents/extensions/
This allows the platform to grow without destroying existing functionality.
📚 New Documentation
Added documentation covering:
• Document Automation
• Document Governance
• Document Types
• Document Rendering
• Project Resume
• Agent Safe Extension
• Antigravity Integration
• OpenCode Integration
• Agent Modification Policy
🚀 Impact
VWA-OS is evolving from a collection of web-development agents into an evidence-driven operating system for complete digital projects.
The platform can now coordinate:
DESIGN
+
DEVELOPMENT
+
VISUAL QA
+
IMAGE RECOVERY
+

🎯 Core Principle
VWA-OS v1.2.1 follows a simple rule:
"Don't trust what the code says.
Verify what the user sees.
Document what was done.
Preserve what already works."
