CoreSlim 1.0.2 (wordpress.org submission release)

A release focused on preparing the free CoreSlim plugin for the WordPress.org Plugin Directory.

Changes

  • WordPress.org build now uses native WordPress.org updates only (build.ps1 -WpOrg emits core-slim-1.0.2-wporg.zip with NO ShareWire integration, so updates flow purely through the WordPress.org channel). GitHub/ShareWire installs keep ShareWire auto-updates + opt-in telemetry.
  • Tested up to: 7.0 (readme + changelog).
  • Update/telemetry copy made WordPress.org-neutral across the plugin header, readme.txt and README.md.
  • Added tools/make-wporg-assets.php to regenerate the wp.org icon/banner/screenshot PNG assets.

Install

Use the default core-slim-1.0.2.zip from this release (GitHub/ShareWire channel, keeps ShareWire auto-updates). The -wporg variant is intended for the WordPress.org submission and is not needed for normal installs.
