FigEdit 0.9 focuses on one thing: making the right reconstruction decision for every part of a complex figure, so the final result is both more faithful and genuinely editable.
What’s new
- More accurate routing — each region is handled according to what it actually contains. Text, structure, screenshots, proprietary visual assets, maps, photo backgrounds and decorative elements can follow different reconstruction paths instead of being forced into one global strategy.
- Higher reconstruction fidelity — improved handling of occluded assets, continuous backgrounds, gradients, posters and multi-panel figures reduces missing content, visual contamination and unnecessary redrawing.
- More reliable editability — text, formulas, shapes, connectors and image assets are rebuilt with clear semantic structure for continued editing in SVG and PowerPoint, while regions that should remain raster preserve their original appearance.
- A more stable workflow — reconstruction now follows a clear inspect → source → assemble → verify process, with the route decided before production and the final result checked for omissions, misalignment and visual distortion.
- More complete delivery — standardized output includes editable SVG, embedded SVG, native PowerPoint, preview images, assets and quality reports.
