Cannot run gitk in dev environment: invalid command name "image"

Since a few commits in git I cannot launch gitk anymore.
It worked in d82adb6 and for example doesn't work in 721c9e5 anymore.
I run it like this: tclsh.exe C:\Users\my\path\to\git\git-for-windows/gitk-git/gitk
The issue I get is:

invalid command name "image"
    while executing
"image create bitmap tri-rt -background black -foreground blue -data {
    #define tri-rt_width 13
    #define tri-rt_height 13
    static unsigned cha..."
    (file "C:\Users\my\path\to\git\git-for-windows/gitk-git/gitk" line 3555)

I use a conda environment that is activated before running this command)

I played around with it, but cannot find the cause or a workaround.
Can someone help me?

You cannot run gitk through tclsh.exe, it needs to be run via wish.exe. But why do you play games with running Git from source in-place? You'd need to know the difference between Tcl and Tk for that...

I don't know or don't undrestand. I develop gitk. Some features and currently a bugfix.

Running it via wish.exe C:\Users\my\path\to\git\git-for-windows/gitk-git/gitk works. Thanks!
