Feature Request - support ptyxis terminal (default on Ubuntu 26.04 LTS)

Hi! In Ubuntu 26.04 LTS ptyxis is now default terminal emulator, superseding gnome-terminal.

It would be nice to have support for it and make it default on Ubuntu 25.10+ (25.10 is the version when it was introduced as the default, ref - https://documentation.ubuntu.com/release-notes/25.10/)

#13794 serves as great example on how support can probably be added. Please be sure that there is a validation video as we can probably not test this ourselves.
