Transactions stuck in pending verification if replaced manually

Description
If on a payout, due to some reason, the initial transaction is replaced by a newer one (say gas fees were too low, and they increased the gas price), the transaction gets stuck at pending verification forever. I am sure this behaviour is replicated in tips as well

To Reproduce
Make a payout, replace the transaction manually

Expected behavior
Should automatically pick the new transaction (can match nonce..)

Could you share the bounty where this happened & when the payout was done ?
We did roll out an integration with blocknative to be able to pick up replaced transaction as etherscan did not support it yet
