Runtime UI collections, mapped panels and bounded gameplay input

UnityMCPBridge v10.3.0 ships matching Unity package, Python server and CLI sources,
with 54 built-in MCP tool entrypoints.

Added

  • Virtualized UI Toolkit ListView/TreeView addressing by index or item ID,
read-only logical inspection, explicit reveal and opt-in ancestor expansion.
  • Explicit flat-panel coordinates, RenderTexture UV coordinates and
camera-to-mesh ray mapping, with bounded material/geometry validation and
    collider-based occlusion checks.
  • input_play_mode: bounded keys/chords, mouse movement, left/right/middle click,
drag, wheel, status and operation-ID-guarded cancellation through temporary
Unity Input System devices. One gesture owns one durable command receipt.
  • Matching CLI commands, generated contracts/references, recovery guidance and
    an updated repository README.

Boundaries

Gameplay input requires stable unpaused Play Mode, Dynamic Input System updates,
compatible unpaired actions and idle human input. Pointer gestures require an
unlocked cursor and the application's existing Game View focus policy. No OS
input, legacy input, PlayerInput/InputUser pairing, device-filtered actions,
gamepad, touch, text/IME or automatic rebinding/settings changes are provided.
Physical devices are not driven or reset.

Mapped RenderTexture panels are not native world-space UI Toolkit picking, which
remains unsupported. Collider occlusion does not promise pixel-accurate visibility.
The known shared-server shutdown issue with opted-in batch Editors remains open;
use a dedicated server for isolated live verification.

Verification

  • 1,749 local Python tests passed; two environment-dependent tests skipped.
  • 141 release/tool tests passed; contracts and generated-reference checks passed.
  • Feature verification on Windows, Unity 6000.3.9f1: 39 UI EditMode tests,
three UI Toolkit PlayMode tests, 20 input EditMode tests and six input PlayMode
tests passed. Real MCP calls verified virtualized rows, mapped surface clicks,
ordinary gameplay polling/InputAction edges and cancellation cleanup.
  • Mac/Linux gameplay behavior, separately rendered URP mapping and injected
reload/disconnect/quit faults have not been separately verified.
  • Hosted Unity verification is an intentional credential-free skip, not a claim
that Unity tests ran on GitHub.
