Read and annotate Markdown, PDF, EPUB, MOBI, AZW3 and FB2 without changing the source files.
- Bundled offline ebook reader: contents, search, font/layout controls, highlights, notes, tags and saved reading positions.
- Optional keyboard selection (disabled by default): hold Space, choose a start, adjust with Left/Right and press Enter to write a note. Configurable activation key and delay.
- Unified user-bindable undo for Markdown and newly created ebook annotations, without intercepting Ctrl/Cmd+Z.
- Improved light/dark reading and clearer source excerpt / personal note cards.
- Complete illustrated English and Chinese user manual, with separate developer documentation.
Requires Obsidian 1.13.0 or later. No calibre, account, format conversion or DRM support.
Update only main.js, manifest.json and styles.css; preserve plugin settings and the vault's scholiast/ data directory. Older data migrates to schema v2 on saving with a migration backup. Back up current data before downgrading.

Validation: 24 unit tests; lint and production build pass. Previous Chrome keyboard integration: 24 groups; macOS Obsidian EPUB host validation: 14 checks. Native IME, mobile, Windows and large/complex publisher books still need further acceptance testing.
