I don't like that copilot can spawn a sub agent with much more expensive models. It decided to randomly spawn an Opus 5 Max sub agent to do the work in my latest stream, running up $20 in charges while I went to get coffee.

There is a way to set up a copilot hook that runs a ps1 when the active model decides to spawn a subagent and in your ps1 you can return yes/no/ask depending on the model it is picking.

But I agree, this should be a first-class option in the UI. +1
