Permissions stuck in auto mode after changing back to interactive

Describe the bug

When changing permissions from auto mode back to interactive, the agent keeps making code changes without permission requests as it does normally in "interactive mode". I have observed this behavior for multiple models.

go from auto mode where it implements something, back to interactive and do more code changes then
