Update repository names to be consistent#24121
Conversation
This updates the references to a repository name to be consistent throughout this document to avoid confusion. It makes it more clear that a repository has an owner that may not be a username (ie it could be an org name).

@adamcrews - thanks for making this suggestion and opening a pull request to make the change 💖
This seems like a good replacement, but I can see that we also use this pattern in some other articles. I'm going to check in with a few other people and get back to you on this.

@adamcrews - thanks for your patience.
Your change looks great and I'll get it merged shortly.
We'll also open an issue to follow up by checking whether other USER or USERNAME placeholders are correct or whether any of them should also be replaced by OWNER.

This updates the references to a repository name to be consistent throughout this document to avoid confusion. It makes it more clear that a repository has an owner that may not be a username (ie it could be an org name).
Why:
The urls referenced in the various examples were inconsistent. One of my end users was confused about wether they should use their github userid or the org name when updating a url. This change make all of the urls consistent, and used the specific word
ownerto that should help clarify the name of the repository. What's being changed (if available, include any code snippets, screenshots, or gifs):
I simply updated
userandusernameto beowner, and fix allrepo.gitto berepository.gitCheck off the following:
