….22) Weekly tone/consistency maintenance pass over scratchpad/ and specs/. - Fixed 1 previously-missed tone issue in breaking-cli-rules.md:220 (removed subjective 'easy to identify' clause; stated concrete schema-validation-error behavior). - Rescanned scratchpad/ (63 spec files) and specs/ (10 files): otherwise clean of marketing/subjective language. - Bumped dev.md to v9.22 (2026-07-25) and appended a Document History entry. Summary
Maintenance tone scan pass (v9.22) over scratchpad documentation. Fixed one previously-missed subjective phrase in
scratchpad/breaking-cli-rules.mdand updated the developer instructions version metadata.Changes
scratchpad/breaking-cli-rules.mdscratchpad/dev.mdScope
Motivation
The v9.22 tone scan identified one residual subjective intensifier ('easy to identify') inside an example changeset code fence in breaking-cli-rules.md. Prior passes skipped it because it was embedded within a fenced code block. The fix aligns with the established pattern of removing vague qualifiers in favour of stating concrete, observable behavior.
