Daily terminology scan (2026-07-28). Added new terms and clarified existing entries based on recent commits: - Engine Version (`engine.version`): now honored consistently across Copilot, Claude, Codex, and Gemini engines. - Missing Model AI Credits Pricing: specialized failure category for models lacking pricing configuration. Reviewed candidates already documented under existing entries: max-ai-credits, safe-outputs.data (machine-readable channel), watchdog (internal harness detail, not user-facing terminology), LLMProvider (internal Go type, not user-facing). Docs-only update to the glossary reference adding two new entries discovered during the daily scan.
Key changes
engine.version): documents theengine:field that pins the installed CLI version (defaults tolatest), accepts a literal version string or a GitHub Actions expression, and is supported across Copilot, Claude, Codex, and Gemini engines. Includes a YAML example and a link to the AI Engines Reference.default-ai-credits-pricingfallback, causing the API proxy to reject inference requests with HTTP 400. Lists three resolution paths (add pricing, map the model name, or switch models) and links to the Default AI Credits Pricing section.Impact
