Dotfiles are not being executed or installed

Bug description

Dotfiles install.sh script is not being executed and the $HOME/.dotfiles.log is empty.

Steps to reproduce

• Use your(or mine: https://github.com/axonasif/dotfiles) dotfiles in https://gitpod.io/preferences
• Open a workspace
• Check $HOME/.dotfiles.log

Workspace affected

https://axonasif-test-tosuim2tp2c.ws-us32.gitpod.io/

Expected behavior

$HOME/.dotfiles should be under gitpod:gitpod usergroup and install.sh should execute.

~/.dotfiles is owned by root and install.sh is not executing and hence ~/.dotfiles.log is empty. I wonder, is this related with recent private repos support for dotfiles?
