• AI chat panel now starts visible by default (was hidden and easy to miss), with a toolbar toggle.
• Equation-editor \square placeholders are now first-class: highlighted, one-click/Tab select, live remaining-slots hint.
• "Display equation" checkbox for numbered/labelled \begin{equation} blocks from the visual editor.
