VTK (Visualization Tool Kit)

Install dependencies

sudo apt install build-essential cmake mesa-common-dev mesa-utils freeglut3-dev python3-dev python3-venv git-core ninja-build

Install VTK

Download source file from website: https://vtk.org/download/

Extract and install

cd ~/Downloads
sudo tar -zxvf VTK-9.3.0.tar.gz -C /opt/
cd /opt/VTK-9.3.0/
sudo mkdir build && cd build
sudo cmake -DVTK_RENDERING_BACKEND=OpenGL ..
sudo make -j8
sudo make install
