App platform enhancements and changes

  • Raw HTTP response processing. A new configuration option rawResponse is now available in config.json. When rawResponse is set to true there will be no parsing of the response body in to an object. The rawData template data attribute will be the response body represented as a byte array.
  • New template functions fromXml and mustFromXml. They can be used to process "raw" XML responses in the "response_transformation.gtpl" template. You can read more about available template functions in docs/1.0.1/appcfg-docs_platform_template-functions.md

CLI Improvements

  • New appcfg apps commands. This set of commands will allow for managing apps within the Gladly environment (installation, activation, OAuth configuration, etc). appcfg apps require authentication with Gladly.
  • 3 new environment variables that can be used to persist Gladly authentication: GLADLY_APP_CFG_HOST, GLADLY_APP_CFG_USER, GLADLY_APP_CFG_TOKEN. Run apps apps -h for more information.
  • The first "apps" command is now available: appcfg apps oauth. It initiates the OAuth flow for a configuration.
