Repository navigation
v1.7.0
What's New
- Collapsible document view — Opt-in mode showing headings as an always-visible expandable tree. Expand sections to read, collapse to scan. Fold state persists across sessions. Keyboard: j/k navigate, Enter expand, [ ] collapse/expand all
- Link intelligence — Tracks inter-document links (standard markdown + wiki-links). See outgoing/incoming links in the right panel, detect broken and stale links, filter the file tree to connected documents only
- Document outline — Right-side panel with Contents (heading outline) and Links (backlinks) views via segmented control. Active heading tracked via scroll position
- macOS binaries are now signed and notarised — No more "unidentified developer" warnings on macOS

Windows
There is no pre-built Windows binary for this release. Windows code signing requires a separate certificate (~$200–400/year), and without it Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer with a scary warning. Rather than ship an unsigned binary that looks untrustworthy, we've opted to skip the Windows build for now. Windows users can build from source — it takes about a minute:
git clone https://github.com/globalroo/markdown-viewer.git
cd markdown-viewer
npm install
npm run distThe packaged .exe will be in the release/ directory.
