v1.20.7
Changes since v1.20.6:
- Upload credits before creating an event. Add giveaway CSVs in the builder and save their codes or links together with the draft. Staged credits remain available after a failed save so you can retry.
- Claim multiple giveaways from one QR code. Simplified claiming supports up to 20 giveaways, with automatic code/link detection. Participants receive all assigned credits in one email and open the selected link giveaway after claiming. Exhausted giveaways are skipped, and repeat claims keep the original credits.
- Use Luma check-ins for simplified claiming. New check-ins add eligible attendees automatically. An explicit “Import existing check-ins” action imports earlier check-ins, while CSV attendee import remains available.
- Manage one Luma connection across claiming methods. The builder keeps the event ID and API key in one section, shows a connected status after verification, and preserves credentials when switching claiming methods.
- Manage credits directly in the event builder. Configure regular or simplified claiming, manage inventory and redirect selection, preview the combined credit email, and open the illustrated claiming guide.
- Simpler participant registration. Rebuilt the registration form with focused sections, progress guidance, and shared field and validation rules.
- Submit a talk proposal during registration. New speakers can register for a Meetup and submit their completed talk proposal in one flow.
- Better event authoring controls. Added Markdown editing for event and track descriptions, a country selector, and reliable direct editing of agenda durations. The Create event dropdown now stays inside the viewport.
- New agent integrations. Added a local Codex Events plugin and compact, role-aware MCP tools with explicit operation routing, including event-builder catalog and analysis operations.
- Browser-page agent tools. Added WebMCP tools to read public event details and create event drafts using the signed-in browser session, where supported.
Includes database migration 0078_simplified_claiming_giveaways, applied automatically by the production release workflow.

What's Changed
Features
- Add a guided event builder: pick an event type, start from a curated template, and assemble the agenda from session blocks with live scoring.
- Score every agenda with research-based meters for audience energy, participant focus, activity variety, and return intent, with coach tips when something needs attention.
- Calibrate the scoring engine against field data from community events worldwide, and keep every starter template warning-free by design.
- Explain the scoring model in the builder: the research behind each meter, per-block focus and energy values, budgets per event type, and score bands.
- Let custom agenda blocks declare their own focus and energy dials.
- Let community members propose meetup talks.
- Add MCP access with OAuth so external tools can connect securely.
- Add Google sign-in through Auth0.
UI/UX Improvements
- Replace native date inputs in the builder with a segmented date and time picker: typed segments, a calendar popover, an AM/PM control, and local-time labeling.
- Show the live balance score with the event's total duration and clock range while building.
- Color the builder charts by severity along the line, so energy dips stand out at a glance.
- Add duplicate and description controls to agenda items.
- Rework Talks Night into Lightning Talks Night with six five-minute talks and community demos.
Bug fixes
- Restore contrast on the Auth0 consent screen's Decline button.
- Make MCP OAuth standards-compliant, including origin validation, scope preservation, and scope-less tokens.
- Support strict-default Auth0 tenants during setup.
- Update dependencies to address Nuxt security advisories.
