[1.88.2] - 2026-10-03 — Alrescha

Fixed

  • extensions:cache works before the database is set up. Since 1.88 the extension-state lock
    was a PostgreSQL advisory lock on PostgreSQL, so composer create-project failed at its
    extensions:cache step while .env still held placeholder credentials. ExtensionStateMutex
    guards files, so it is now a file lock on every driver and needs no database. It is re-entrant
    within a process. Its $db parameter is accepted and ignored.
