Robin 0.3.1
Robin 0.3.1
This patch release tightens Robin’s review, recall, diagnostics, and selftest behavior after the v0.3.0 health-check and entry-management release.
Changed
- Recall output now shows a relative saved date, for example
Saved on: 2026-04-08 (6 days ago). - Topic summaries now show an overflow marker when the rated/unrated star bar is capped, preserving large-topic context.
robin-doctornow gives clearer guidance for legacy review-index keys and tells users to runrobin-reindexwhen migration is needed.selftest.py --state-dirnow respects customtopics_dirandmedia_dirvalues fromrobin-config.json.
Fixed
- Hardened review timestamp parsing for timezone-naive
last_surfacedvalues. - Fixed topic-only search headings so they stay topic-specific instead of falling back to
Total. - Made review index writes atomic to reduce corruption risk on interrupted writes.
- Removed stale/dead topic-filter and duplicate-dedupe wrappers.
- Improved entry move behavior so malformed manually edited entries return clean Robin errors without mutating the source file.
- Consolidated remote media URL checks through a shared helper.
- Cleaned up selftest failure handling by replacing an obscure generator exception trick with a readable helper.
Validation
- Full test suite passing:
81 passed.
