NeoLauncher 12.0.1-develop

Debian-family development prerelease focused on Linux desktop integration and Neo UX correctness.

Changes

  • installs matching hicolor SVG and 256×256 PNG application icons for Linux Mint/Cinnamon menu compatibility;
  • makes Neo Dashboard a hidden-by-default, persistent dock with toolbar/View toggles and important-issue indication;
  • adds the internal NeoLauncher default instance icon while preserving explicit Prism, imported, and custom icon keys;
  • adds explicit Neo Doctor Idle/Analyzing/Success/Problems/Failed behavior, visible progress, retry, and concurrency protection;
  • improves selection and action feedback across Neo health, snapshots, mod profiles, sync, and server profiles;
  • removes mandatory Microsoft sign-in for launcher management, local account creation, and explicit offline launch while preserving authentication requirements for online services;
  • expands automated coverage to 36 tests, including installed desktop assets and Cinnamon-compatible icon lookup contracts.

Platform

NeoLauncher remains supported only on Debian-derived Linux distributions. This prerelease provides a native .deb; no AppImage artifact is produced.
