Can dns.resolvers contain more than one resolver? If so, how to specify? Comma-separated?

Dear all,

I just had to change the dns.resolvers argument on one of my machines (I guess the previously used one caches negative responses and thus I ran into a timeout).

While doing that I wondered whether this could take multiple servers (in case one of them has issues). If so, would I specify it as a comma-separated list?

The documentation does not mention this:

Set the nameservers to use for performing (recursive) CNAME resolving and apex domain determination. For DNS-01 challenge verification, the authoritative DNS server is queried directly. Supported: host:port. The default is to use the system nameservers, or Cloudflare’s nameservers if the system’s cannot be determined.

Hello,

--dns.resolvers flag takes a comma-separated list of address:

--dns.resolvers=1.1.1.1:53,1.0.0.1:53

or multiple time the same flags:

--dns.resolvers=1.1.1.1:53 --dns.resolvers=1.0.0.1:53
