--allowed-host for a reverse proxy (#62): slides -s binds 127.0.0.1 and refuses requests whose Host or Origin is not its own, so a page elsewhere cannot reach it through DNS rebinding. Behind a reverse proxy with a public name, give that name with --allowed-host slides.example.org, which you can repeat. The server then accepts it, along with the matching https:// origin for live reload, and keeps refusing every other name. The checks are never turned off.
- Self-hosting guide (docs, in seven languages):
- host the playground and
slides -s on your own server with Caddy;
- automatic HTTPS through ACME;
- sign-in through OIDC with oauth2-proxy.
The site's tarball, with precompressed .br and .gz files, is attached to the go-slides.github.io v0.1.0 release with its SHA-256.
