Start debug logging with the service

Services can now initialize Clue's request debug logging when they start:

debug.MountDebugLogEnabler(mux, debug.WithInitialState(debugEnabled))

The existing HTTP debug endpoint still controls the same process-wide setting. Mounting without the option preserves the current state, initially off. New requests and streams use the selected state; already-running streams keep their original setting.

This release also fixes concurrent access to that setting and prevents one request's logging options from changing another request. Clue's HTTP and gRPC logging middleware create request-local loggers even when request IDs are disabled. Buffered informational messages remain available when a request fails. See #721.

When supplying a configured logger, place Clue's corresponding logging middleware before its debug middleware. No caller changes are needed unless opting into startup debug logging. Endpoint paths, query values, response formats and payload limits are unchanged; no data migration is required.

Dependency updates and Go requirement

This release includes the dependency updates merged since v1.2.6, including Goa v3.30.0, OpenTelemetry core/SDK v1.46.0, gRPC v1.83.1 and AWS Smithy v1.27.7. The root module now requires Go 1.26, matching the existing workspace toolchain requirement. Build tooling and the weather example dependencies are also updated.

Verification

The release is pinned to b52b35b. Its main-branch tests, integration tests, CodeQL checks and coverage checks passed. Local validation included the full Go test suite with race detection, repository lint, startup on/off, live toggles, concurrent requests, stream isolation and buffered error-message preservation. Independent source review passed.
