Fixes credential migration for non-interactive macOS hosts.

  • Keychain remains preferred
  • mode-0600 local fallback when Keychain is unavailable
  • credential reads follow each peer's recorded backend
  • tokens never return to config

Live proof on Hudson's Mac:

  • initial migration failure left 0.4.0 healthy and state untouched
  • 0.4.4 migrated the legacy token to the protected fallback
  • service restarted through the stable launcher
  • Codex and Claude Code health matched 0.4.4
  • reciprocal Reagan ↔ Hudson session visibility remained intact
  • redacted support receipt passed

33/33 release tests pass.

Try the public alpha

macOS teammates already on the same Tailscale network can install with:

brew install godfaddaai/tap/mpai
mpai setup --name "Your Name"

Create a private-by-default participant invite, share one session, and send the printed join command through a trusted channel:

mpai invite --name Teammate --role participant --share selected
mpai share SESSION_ID --with Teammate
