First public release of Agentbits: a desktop app where you build your own team of AI agents (a lead plus specialists), hand them work and watch them do it in a pixel-art office.

What's in it

  • Your own AI organization: teams, roles, per-agent permissions and six ready-made team templates
  • A project lead that turns your request into tasks, assigns them and reviews the results
  • Live pixel-art office, Kanban board and a terminal for every agent, with token usage
  • Project memory and a decision log
  • Connections to SSH servers and PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB and SQL Server: denied by default, Production changes need your approval, every call is audited
  • MCP apps and installable skills
  • English and Turkish UI
  • Providers: Claude Code CLI, Codex CLI, Anthropic API, OpenAI API, plus a free Demo mode that needs no API key

Windows is the main target. The macOS packages have not been tested on a real Mac yet.

  • Node.js is not needed to run the app.
  • Claude Code CLI and Codex CLI are not bundled. Install and sign in to them separately (claude auth login, codex login) if you want to use them.
  • The installers are not code-signed yet. Windows SmartScreen will warn you: More info → Run anyway. macOS may also block the app on first launch.

Verify the download

SHA-256 checksums are in SHA256SUMS-windows.txt and SHA256SUMS-macos.txt. A checksum only shows the file was not corrupted; it is not a signature.

Known limitations

This is an MVP. There is no auto-update, API-based agents (Anthropic / OpenAI) cannot edit files or run commands, and Gemini or local models are not supported yet. See Current limitations in the README for the full list.
