Godot Device Emulation could be a feature that allows you to simulate mobile viewports, screen resolutions, and touch interactions directly from your desktop.
Problem: I am writing a game for mobile. How do I know what it will look like on a Pixel 6 or a Samsung Galaxy. Or on an XBOX. The game is a 2D pixel game that needs to be scaled up and down for different screen sizes. It should fill the width of the screen. There should be a border above and below (if required). The game is 720x1280 - scaled up to a Pixel 6, with a screen of 1080 x 2400, there should be 480 unused pixels above my scaled up game (720 * 1.5 = 1080 ,,,, 1280 * 1.5 = 1920 .... 2400 - 1980 = 480px ) ... I'd like to quickly check my game border is showing, and that my game is scaling correctly for the most common mobile devices.
To see my stolen idea - open Chrom browser, open inspector and click on the "Device Emulation" button.
