First release of Cardboard, a local-first HTML/CSS design editor you share with your AI agent.

Install

macOS and Linux

curl -fsSL https://cardboard.goerll.dev/install.sh | sh

Windows (PowerShell)

irm https://cardboard.goerll.dev/install.ps1 | iex

Then connect your agent, for example with Claude Code: claude mcp add cardboard -- cardboard mcp.

Notes

  • Linux is the platform Cardboard is used on day to day. The macOS and Windows builds are brand new, so please open an issue if anything misbehaves.
  • The macOS app isn't notarized by Apple yet. The install script handles that; if you unzip by hand, right click the app and pick Open the first time.
