Copy a path out of the file panel

Right-click any row — file or folder — and the first entry is its path:

Copy path file
─────────────────────────
New file… pickproj
New folder… pickproj
─────────────────────────
New terminal here shell

It is quoted only when it needs to be, by the same rule a dropped file already
follows, so a folder with a space in its name arrives whole rather than falling
apart at the first argument boundary:

C:\data\code\notex\src
"C:\data\code\with space"

The clipboard is the awkward part. Browsers only hand it to a page in a secure
context
, and the address this panel is most often opened at is exactly the one
that is not — a LAN address over plain HTTP, from a phone. Where the modern
route is refused, the older one takes over; and where that is refused too, the
path opens in a field with the text already selected, because "copy it by hand"
is only advice if the thing to copy is somewhere you can reach.
