Settings in the Control Panel
The five defaults of the {{ toc }} tag — field, first level, number of levels, last level and
flat list — are available under Settings → Addon Settings as soon as
goldnead/statamic-brand-context (1.13 or newer) is installed alongside. Until now this was
only possible through config/statamic-toc.php. Every value can still be overridden on the tag
individually; what is set here is the default for everywhere else. New permission:
manage toc settings; nobody holds it at first, and until it is assigned to a role the section
stays invisible.
Why the boundary is at 1.13. Older versions show the page but do not apply its values
reliably: on an installation with a single brand, the settings of the addons that registered
last were never written onto the config — after a reload the page showed the stored value while
what got read was the package default. On top of that, up to 1.12 a second save of the same
section deleted the first save's override, without a message. Anyone who set values before this
update should check afterwards that they are still there.
No new required dependency. statamic-brand-context requires Statamic 6; this addon still
runs on Statamic 5 as well. Without that neighbour nothing registers, and everything stays as it
was. If you want the screen, install it alongside:
