Convergo now keeps planning, implementation and review anchored to the original user outcome. An independent full review followed by a clean focused recheck can complete an ordinary loop; additional full reviews require material change, new evidence or an explicit requirement. Hybrid model roles and required independent signatures are preserved.

The update adds necessity checks before adding or repairing mechanisms, keeps optional suggestions from becoming implicit requirements, and pauses only work that depends on unresolved decisions. It also moves Codex loop specialists to the native Desktop task lifecycle and preserves task ownership across continuation. Marketplace and generated platform metadata are aligned at 0.6.0.

Validation

  • GitHub CI passed on the release commit, including generated-skill consistency, metadata validation, Claude plugin validation and 20 tests.
  • Final intent/convergence decision fixtures: 9/9 passed.
  • Trigger routing: 30/31 passed in the full run. The failed negative control chose the competing ce-work skill, not a cvg skill; three targeted repeats passed.
  • Real Claude transport smoke completed with two background specialists and same-agent continuations: an observed seeded defect was repaired, the original reviewer recovered its context and passed the focused recheck, and the orchestrator exited without another full review. Five final arithmetic assertions passed independently. An optional cache-cleanup command was denied; required lifecycle and behavior checks completed.
  • Independent Fable 5.1 review found no blocking defects; its bounded wording and handoff corrections were incorporated. The proposed security-confidence threshold change was excluded.

Limits

Decision fixtures are regression coverage, not proof of long-task effectiveness. The two necessity-paragraph ablations did not establish a marginal benefit at this fixture size. A full native Codex Desktop lifecycle and the unchanged hybrid CLI-wrapper transport were not exercised in this release run.

Restart Claude Code or start a new Codex task after updating so the installed skills are loaded in a fresh session.
