Why have you stopped publishing to PyPI since v0.10.22?

I saw that in the past, versions were published to PyPI immediately.
More than 4 months have passed since the release of v0.10.22, and it still isn't published to PyPI. Why?

I need to use the latest version (v0.10.24) and it will be easier for me if the code will be published to PyPI.

I have a lot of stuff that goes on in my life including running a business so sometimes I forget about little things that go on like in GitHub so I'm confused about what this is about?

The Python Package Installer (PyPI) is a program that allows you to install python packages.

For each release of mediapipe, the library's authors have uploaded the code to PyPI's servers so that everyone who wants to install the latest release of mediapipe will be able to do it like that:

pip install mediapipe

Right now, the most updated version of mediapipe in PyPI is v0.10.21 (that was released in february).

Since then, this repo have released many new releases (the latest is v0.10.24). My question is why aren't those releases in PyPI, and could the authors upload them to PyPI please?

Since v0.10.24, the authors have changed the python library of mediapipe to support new gemma3 models, and I need to use these new models with your library.

It will be easier to use the latest library release if it will be published to PyPI like the earlier versions.

The previous two releases were specifically for [MediaPipe Tasks Text GenAI], not for MediaPipe Tasks Vision — they were published on NPM and Maven, but not on PyPI. This is why the latest version is not visible under Tasks Vision on PyPI. We have noted this and will make sure future releases clearly indicate when they are specific to MediaPipe GenAI. We are also working on adding more precise documentation to avoid confusion.
