What happened?

Hello, is there a tutorial or documentation explaining how to connect a Google AI Studio API key to the Gemini CLI and Antigravity? What are the steps to follow ? Thank you!

What did you expect to happen?

I expected the Gemini CLI to recognize and use my Google AI Studio API key or Antigravity after configuration, or at least provide clear setup instructions if additional steps were required.

For Gemini CLI:

1. Create a Gemini API key in Google AI Studio.
2. In the terminal where you will run Gemini CLI, set the env var:

$env:GEMINI_API_KEY="YOUR_GEMINI_API_KEY"

3. Start Gemini CLI:

gemini

4. In the auth prompt, choose Use Gemini API key

As for Antigravity, I'm not entirely sure but this official Antigravity page says it doesn't currently support the bring-your-own-key model:
