Chrome Web Store have changed their policies to be stricter on permissions and have banned Detangle because it requests, but does not use, the "notification" permission. Whilst trying to correct that, we have discovered that the extension build/release process has not been tested for several years and is broken.

The extension itself has not been changed and we are unaware of any other issues with the Detangle Chrome Extension.

We are endeavouring to fix the problems and release a fixed version of the extension.

In the meantime, it is possible to manually re-enable the extension (in both the "corporate" and "regular" browsers).

Should we try to just grab the zip and remove the notifications permission from the manifest for now? IIRC notifications were removed in favour of raising the window.
