fscrypt enters an infinite loop if the key file is specified incorrectly or the password is set incorrectly.
I write bash script, which will backup the userdata onto dir on backup drive, encrypted with fscrypt.
Script has a string like:
fscrypt unlock --unlock-with=/mnt/exthdd01:77f332536f86d4a2 --key=/home/romano/backup_drive.key /mnt/exthdd01/backup
intentionally specified an incorrect key for the test.
The same situation applies to entering a password if the protector is custom or login: scrypt enters an infinite loop of password prompts until it is interrupted by pressing Ctrl-C.
