We have a few of these lying around.

I could have imagined releasing inCompletionOrder and makeTimeoutFuture in the first place. I'm less sure about makeDelayedReturnFuture, but it's accumulated enough callers to be worthy of consideration.

inCompletionOrder and makeTimeoutFuture have both since been released in guava.

other possibilities include firstOf(), logFailure(), inSuccessfulOrder()
