Custom fix scripts: --fix-script

Run your own fix against an unbootable VM's disk — no diagnosis needed. Built for large-scale events where many VMs share one known fix (e.g. a faulty driver or agent update that leaves a fleet unbootable), and for one-off repairs the fix catalog doesn't cover.

  • Works on Linux (bash) and Windows (PowerShell) inside the existing safety flow: backup snapshot, automatic restore, post-restore boot verification
  • Script previewed at confirmation; --quiet for automation at scale
  • Pre-flight validation (existence, size vs metadata limit, CRLF normalization)
  • Optional GCE-REPAIR-RESULT: markers give a per-VM fix summary
  • Validated end-to-end on Linux and Windows (#110, closes #63)
