Added

  • Org-policy rescue-image detection — when a project enforces constraints/compute.trustedImageProjects and the default rescue image is blocked, rescue/repair now fail fast before any change is made (zero downtime; VM never stopped), with an actionable error naming the allowed image projects and a copy-pasteable --rescue-image example. Pre-flight org-policy query + creation-time safety net with clean rollback (#137, #122).
  • --verification-timeout=SECONDS for rescue/repair. OS-aware defaults (Linux 300s, Windows 600s) replace the fixed 120s, fixing intermittent false verification failures on slow-booting Windows rescue VMs (#131, #123).

Fixed

  • Cleaner error output across rescue/restore/repair: no doubled ERROR: ERROR: prefix, no stray empty ERROR: lines, and operation errors no longer interleave with the progress spinner (#137).
