• Deterministic rescue completion signal (#144). Verification no longer relies solely on the serial console, which can drop the startup script's final output before the process exits — causing false timeouts even when the rescue succeeded. The startup script now sets a guest attribute (gce-rescue/status=COMPLETE) and verification polls that first, with the serial marker kept as a fallback. Fixes intermittent Windows verify timeouts.
• repair Local SSD pre-flight (#135). repair now pre-flights Local SSDs the same way rescue does: in --quiet it requires --force (with a clear hint) and warns before the confirmation prompt, instead of failing mid-operation with a raw "undefined value for discard-local-ssd" API error.
