Made with AI: written by Claude (Anthropic) with gopherbone, tested on a real Playdate. See the top of the README.

Sideload BBKEmu.pdx.zip at https://play.date/account/sideload/ or unzip it into the Games folder of the Playdate's data disk.

  • Sound. No other BBK emulator plays it: the OS music player and key beeps, reverse-engineered from the OS ROM (two square-wave tone channels sequenced by a 128 Hz timer interrupt). Options → Sound: Off, Raw (plain square waves) or Soft (the default: band-limited, de-clicked and low-passed). Pitch is inferred from the ROM's songs and the octave is a guess.
  • New translation: Three Kingdoms: Hegemony v0.1 (三国霸业).
  • Cross Entry updated: dialogue text sits 2 px lower.
