  • Critical-action PIN prompts and confirmation messages now follow the Home Assistant server language, contributed by @hruba202 (#537). The PIN flow added in v3.26.0 returns its user-facing text — confirmation prompts, PIN validation errors, pending-action expiry notices — as fixed strings straight from Python, so it never passes through Home Assistant's translation files and a Czech-configured instance saw the whole flow in English. These strings are deterministic security copy, not model output, so they are translated by a static English/Czech lookup table (agent/pin_messages.py) resolved from the server language (Settings → System → General; region suffixes like cs-CZ resolve to their base language). Any other language falls back to English, and diagnostic log lines stay English deliberately. Maintainer hardening on top of the contribution restored a missing English string (one error path replied with its raw message id instead of a sentence), routed the remaining PIN-flow error messages through the same table, and added parity tests so every language must carry the complete key set with matching placeholders — adding a language is a single new table entry.
