GOX v0.1.3

Install GOX directly with Go 1.26 or later:

go install github.com/gox-lang/server/cmd/gox@latest
gox version

The new cmd/gox entry point produces the gox executable directly. No rename or additional build flags are required for a local Go installation. Ensure Go's executable directory is on your PATH.

Official binaries remain available for Linux, macOS, and Windows on AMD64 and ARM64. Native Windows supports the CLI and LSP; use WSL for applications requiring Go plugins.

Validation: standard Go installation, CLI/LSP, and project creation/runtime plugins passed. All six native release packages passed their checks, including isolated-cache plugin tests on Linux and macOS. Server, published SDK v1.1.1, and RedisAdapter integration tests passed. No SDK or cluster protocol changes.

Verify downloaded archives against checksums.sha256.

GOX v0.1.2

Official GOX Server binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows on x64 and ARM64.

• One executable includes the CLI and language server (gox ls).
• GOX Tools 0.1.4 installs the official binary automatically when no existing GOX installation is found.
• gox update installs the latest stable release. gox run checks every 24 hours and recommends updating; managed LSP installations update in the background and notify VS Code to restart the language server.
• The LSP prepares its own Go toolchain.
• Native Windows supports the CLI and LSP. Use WSL for application development because Go plugins are not supported on Windows.

This release fixes runtime plugin compatibility across machines by matching path normalization between the executable and its plugins. It supersedes v0.1.1.

Validation: all six native CLI/LSP tests passed; Linux and macOS loaded configuration and page plugins with independent module and build caches. Server, published SDK v1.1.1, and RedisAdapter integration tests passed.

GOX v0.1.1

Do not use this build for application development. A post-publication test found plugin incompatibility when the binary and application use different module-cache paths. A corrected release is being prepared.
