Path parameters with allowReserved: true now preserve reserved characters such as : in XLON:LLOY, allowing generated clients to call servers that route on literal identifiers. Existing percent-encoded triples pass through, while /, ?, and # remain encoded. Default path encoding is unchanged.
This is standard OpenAPI 3.2 behavior and an explicitly supported compatibility extension for 3.0/3.1. Query allowReserved remains unsupported.
The reserved encoder is included with operation artifacts, so clients composed through the public low-level generation APIs compile correctly. Selective clients include the helper only when needed.
Compatibility: generated model and method signatures and runtime dependencies are unchanged. ParameterInfo now exposes allow_reserved; callers constructing that analyzer struct directly must initialize the new field.
Thanks to @gilesw for the original implementation in #101. The feature and review fixes landed together in #102, preserving both commits.
Validation: 726 tests passed locally, with formatting, Clippy, doctests, documentation, corpus verification, and OpenAI/Anthropic compile and round-trip checks passing. PR #102 CI also passed.
