Ability to authenticate using Cloud Access policy tokens

Currently we are only able to authenticate using service access tokens and basic auth. It would be great is we can authenticate using cloud access policy tokens

This would be great to have, service account tokens are no longer used for access to cloud. #563 was closed without merging. Can someone please review that PR or open a new one?
